burnt movie cookbookThere have been some truly memorable foodie films released over the past few years – “Julie and Julia” and “The Hundred-Foot Journey” are just a couple that come to mind.

The latest blend of cinema and culinary passion is “Burnt,” which stars Bradley Cooper which just hit theaters this weekend. Cooper plays a very talented yet self-destructive chef pursuing a second chance at culinary stardom. His character goes on an intense personal journey while burning up the screen with one mouth-watering recipe after another.

To celebrate the release of the film and share its amazing recipes, The Weinstein Company has teamed with (yours truly) to create “The Official ‘Burnt’ Movie Cookbook: Recipes worthy of a third Michelin star.”

The free online cookbook (available on the web and as an iPad app) serves up recipes straight from the film. There are seven recipes in all – from Anjou Pigeon and Herdwick Lamb to Mascarpone.

The recipes were created by real-life Michelin starred Chef Marcus Wareing, who served as the film’s food consultant. Each recipe is designed to push taste buds and culinary skills to the limit. Recipes in the cookbook are accompanied by a related quote from the movie, along with a kitchen tip from Chef Wareing.

Get the Cookbook:
via iPad: downloaded our Cookbook Cafe app in iTunes at (then search keyword “BURNT”).
