2020 Golden Globes Menu: What the Stars Ate
The Golden Globes signify the launch of awards season in Hollywood.
AND THE GOLDEN GLOBE GOES TO…
Celebrities from around the world descend on the City of Angles to hobnob with their fellow nominees, enjoy great food and bask in the glory of their hard-earned accolades.
While most reporters focused on “what are you wearing?“… we were more interested in asking “what are you eating?” Yeah baby!
WHAT DID THEY EAT?
Check out the menu from Executive Chef Matthew and Pastry Chef Thomas Henzi at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. This year they transformed the menu to a completely plant-based menu (the first awards program to make the shift to a meatless menu). Go Golden Globes!
Thanks to our BakeSpace special correspondent, we were able to get our hands on the menu.
Which course do you find the most interesting:
Chilled Golden Beet Soup, King Oyster Mushroom “Scallops”, Vegan Opera Dome or the selection of champagne and wine by Moët & Chandon and Terrazas de los Andes? Yum! Yum… yum.
WHO DINED ON THE PLANT-BASED MENU:
Ricky Gervais, Renée Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Cynthia Erivo, Joaquin Phoenix, Adam Driver, Awkwafina, Ana de Armas, Roman Griffin Davis, Margot Robbie, Laura Dern, Brad Pitt, Joe Pesci, Sam Mendes, Todd Phillips, Bong Joon Ho, Quentin Tarantino, Noah Baumbach, Steven Zaillian, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Kaitlyn Dever, Merritt Wever, Sam Rockwell, Jared Harris, Sacha Baron Cohen, Christopher Abbott, Olivia Colman, Jodie Comer (we love you!), Brian Cox, Billy Porter, Tobias Menzies (you’re so evil in Outlander!), Kit Harington, Rachel Brosnahan, Natasha Lyonne, Christina Applegate, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (seriously how long is this list), Ramy Youssef, Paul Rudd and Pierce Brosnan (my next 2nd and 3rd husbands), Stellan Skarsgård (#teamhuntforredoctober), Kieran Culkin, Henry Winkler (always the Fonz), Alan Arkin and Carol Burnett … to name a few…

So Brad Pitt is 👍 on the vegan menu at #goldenglobes2020!
Wherever it comes from, the more positive exposure #vegan eating can get all the better to expand awareness and grow the movement. https://t.co/DfJqkCNy6Y
