Looking to jazz up your cooking style? The refrigerated dairy aisle is where we go to find the foods we count on every day. But there is more to the aisle than meets the eye. Grouped together because they need to be in a cool place, if you look closely you’ll see there’s a creative, fun side to these foods that’s beyond cool and waiting to be unleashed! Get inspired with our delicious summer snacking ideas for multiple occasions that naturally fall within your lifestyle.

Gaby will tell us why the refrigerated dairy case is her destination for inspiration and show us how unexpected ingredients can take snacking to the next level with a 30-60 second video. With cool foods, you can create mini main entrees, bite-sized finger foods, darling side dishes and desserts.

Here are some of Gaby’s top tips to bump your cooking to another level. But, make sure to TUNE IN Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 8PM ET / 5PM PT for even more of her recipe flairs and favorite products!

  1. What makes cheese dip even better? Whipping it with cream cheese to make the easiest appetizer/snack. This turns out amazing with feta and goat cheese!
  2. Add some sizzle to a burger and take the toppings to the next level with a fried egg or pickled onions and sour cream.
  3. Put a twist on your favorite smoothie with different flavored milk alternatives: almond milk, coconut milk or vanilla soy milk.
  4. For a breakfast hash with some heat mix together refrigerated hash browns with a spicy southwestern sauce.
