Why I Love This Recipe
I was cooking for my in-laws the other night, and just whipped this up. It came out really good and everyone loved it. So, thought I'd share.
Ingredients You'll Need
4-6 center cut, bone-in Pork chops
1 T. butter
salt & pepper
worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. dried rosemary-crushed
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 c. chicken stock
1/2 c. all natural applesauce,plus 2 c. w/1 t. cinnomon & 2 t. sugar
1 apple-peeled & diced
Directions
Salt, pepper and sprinkle worcestershire on both sides of each chop.
In a large skillet, melt butter then saute/brown chops on both sides.
Add rosemary, cinnomon, stock, 1/2 c. applesauce & apples to the skillet.
Bring to a simmer over med/high heat, cover and cook 15 min. turn chops over, cook 15 min. or until apples are soft and liquid has reduced.
Serve w sugar-cinnomon applesauce.
