APPLE SLICES
6 cups sliced apples
2cups flour
1/4tsp. salt
1/2tsp baking powder
3/4cup oleo or margarine
2egg yolks%tbsp. water!tsp lemon juice
2/3cups suger
2tspcinnamon
Directions
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. cut in margerine with pastry blender. mix egg yolks water and lemon juice together stir into flour mixture as for pie crust. roll 1/2 half dough and put in jelly roll pan spread apples over top of crust dot with butter. mix cinnamon and suger srinkle over apples cover with top crust bake 375d 25 min. frost when cool with powdered suger mixed with a little milk.
