This sauce is easy to make and works in so many ways.
Use as is for a mayo or creamy veggie dip.
Add cucumber/dill for a tzatziki sauce
Curry powder for a curry sauce .
Smoked paprika, chipotle chili powder for a spicy cheddar sauce.
Thin with water, add fresh herbs, spices for a salad dressing.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup raw cashews (soak, rinse, drain)
2 Tbsp lemon juice (half a lemon)
1 Tsp dried onion bits
1 Garlic Clove
Sea Salt
1/2 cup water
Directions
Blend until smooth and creamy in a high speed blender.
Refrigerate - use within 5 days.
Sauce can be frozen - you will need to stir or blend briefly when thawed.
Pairs Well With
