Why I Love This Recipe

This is my attempt to hack a popular chain's guacamole. The flavor is great, and tossing the ingredients in the lime juice keeps everything green much better than other common tips and tricks. This is a staple at every party at my house.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 limes
4 small avocados (or 2-3 large avocados)
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp kosher salt (or to taste)

Squeeze the juice of the two limes into a large bowl.

Half each avocado and remove the skin and pit. Toss the halves in the lime juice.

Chop the onions and cilantro and add to avocado mixture.

With a potato masher, combine all the ingredients until guacamole is well combined with small avocado chunks.

Season the guacamole with the garlic powder and cumin. Add the salt last in small amounts, tasting as you go.

Tacos, Chili, Chips and Dips
