Apple Cake Pudding

Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe came from my mother and it's very good... just right for a fall time dessert.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 c. sugar
1/4 stick butter (softened)
2 eggs
2 c. flour
4 c. chopped apples
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts
Sauce:
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 stick butter
2 Tbls. Cornstarch
1/2 c. dry dairy creamer
3/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Cream sugar, butter and eggs until fluffy.
Sift together flour, soda, cinammon, nutmeg, and salt.
Stir into sugar mixture.
Add apples and nuts and beat.
Bake in a 13x9x2 in greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350 degree oven.
For 40 minutes or until done.
Sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook slightly until thickened.
Serve over cake, good on ice cream too.
Tip:
Add about 2 tbls.more of cornstarch and about 5-6 tbls. of dairy creamer if
not thick enough.
