Apple Crumb Pie

Apple pie is always a treat. Crumb pie is a nice change of pace.
Ingredients You'll Need
6 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. tapioca flour
1 t. cinnamon, more or less to taste
1 T. butter
single pie crust
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. GGFG Baking Mix or mix of your choice
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
6 T. butter
Directions
Put apples in a large bowl and mix with sugar, tapioca flour, and cinnamon. Pour into pie crust. In a small bowl mix together GGFG mix and brown sugar. Cut in butter with a fork, then stir in nuts. Sprinkle evenly over top of pie. Put on a baking sheet to catch drips, then bake in an oven preheated to 400F for 45 minutes or until top is lightly browned and juices are bubbling. Serve warm or cold.
