Why I Love This Recipe
When I was a child, our family would visit Golden, Texas, to visit my mother's relatives. Aunt Lucille and her husband owned and ran the general store. A highlight for me was to visit their house to play their pump organ! So much fun! She always had a pound cake ready to serve when guests dropped in.
