BBQ Ribs

Why I Love This Recipe
A Family Favorite. "This was one of those that when requested I went ....oh boy! How to make something great, that you don't care for yourself. A combination of internet recipes and reading lots of reviews this recipe was created. Jill often asks for it for her birthday dinner and Brian requests them any time he can... most that don't like ribs or usually leave a bunch of meat still eat it all...partly because it falls off so easily" ~ Judy

*Unwrap and drain drippings
*Place ribs in large pan; mix together sauce ingredients and marinade at room temperature for an hour, basting often
*Place ribs on medium heat BBQ grill and grill 30 minutes basting often with marinade
Recipe Tips
*The airplane bottles of rum are exactly 1/4 cup
*Add more or less of the last 4 ingredients to taste
*Be sure to baste them well on the grill so the glaze really sticks and they are not dry....this is key!
*It is apparently important to make sure ribs are single layer while baking...tried doing a big batch once and it didn't work at all - half didn't cook and none of them were tender to falling off the bone, no matter how much they were basted while grilling - so the oven part is important for these
