BEAN AND HOMINY SOUP

Why I Love This Recipe
This soup is fantastic and so simple to make!! It's a meal in itself! It's another old WW recipe that is a great "go to" meal when you're on the run. All you do is "dump" cans and cook!
6 points per 1-1/2 cups plus 1 Tbl. Cheese
Ingredients You'll Need
3-(15 1/2 oz.) cans Great Northern or Butter Beans, undrained
1-(15 ½ oz.) can of hominy, undrained
1-(14 ½ oz) can no-salt added stewed tomatoes, undrained
1-(11 ½ oz) can of bean with bacon soup, undiluted
1-(10 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles (Rotel is what I use)
1 (11 oz) can of whole-kernal corn, undrained (**I don’t add corn)
1-2/3 cups water
2- bay leaves
3- tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1- teaspoon ground cumin
1- cup (4 oz) shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
