Ingredients You'll Need
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. chili sauce
2 c. canned tomatoes, broken
up
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c pearled or quick cooking
barley
Directions
Saute in skillet ground beef, onion, celery and green pepper. Drain off excess fat. Stir in the rest of ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer; cover, and cook about 35 minutes for quick cooking barley or 1 hour for pearled
barley. Longer if desired.
