BEST CORNBREAD

Why I Love This Recipe
This is so light and delicious with a hint of sweetness.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
2 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup skim milk
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 tbsp. sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 400
2.Spray a square or round 9" pan with nonstick spray, set aside
3.In a medium bowl combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & pepper
4.In a small bowl whisk together milk, egg, oil & sour cream until smooth
5.Add egg mixture into cornmeal and stir until just combined
6.Pour batter into prepared pan
7.Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, making sure to not over bake
8.Let cool for a few minutes before serving
