1 - 6" Brie wheel
1/4 c. Dried cherries
1/4 c. Pecans - toasted & chopped
2-3 Tbs. Brown sugar
1 Puff pastry sheet
1/2 Egg beaten w 1 tsp water
Cut brie in half w/knife or dental floss; Sprinkle bottom half with cherries, nuts & sugar
Replace top half and apply pressure to seal & secure the stuffing.
Working on well floured surface, roll pastry to fully cover brie; place brie in middle of pastry
and fold excess around the wheel; if excess pastry roll out and make decorative cut outs; Brush brie w/egg glaze & place decorations on top
Place on baking sheet lined w/parchment;
Bake @ 400° for 20-30 min. or until pastry begins to turn golden brown;
Reduce to 325° and bake 20 min.
Can be made ahead, wrapped securely and frozen
