Why I Love This Recipe
Used to get this from Top Foods in their deli. I figured out how to make it myself and it is one of mine and Jake's favorites.
Ingredients You'll Need
10-13 potato's
3/4 cup Mayo
3/4 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup green onions
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
1 package bacon (not flavored)
1 teaspoons garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Amounts vary depending on how large of a batch you want. I don't know exact measurements as I do it by taste so I will do my best to guess at measurements.
Based off of 6 medium to large potato's.
Boil potato's, dice and set aside to cool or put in freezer for 5 minutes.
Cook 6 - 9 pieces of bacon, drizzle bacon grease over potato's, chop up bacon into bits and add to potato's. Mix pot's and bacon.
Chop up 4-6 green onions and mix into potato's.
Mix 1/2 cup mayo and a little less than 1/2 cup sour cream. Mix in garlic powder 2 to 3 teaspoons, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over potato's mix together.
Add cheese and mix.
Refrigerate for 1 hour prior to serving to ensure it is chilled all the way through.
Next time I make it I'll try to measure ingredients to be more accurate. Or just try it and do it all by taste!
