Why I Love This Recipe

These are my favorite baked beans and they feed an army so you can halve the recipe, it is from the food network. The only thing I do different is I add about a cup of brown sugar b/c I like my baked beans very sweet. Never had a person that didn't go back for seconds on these beans. I know the pineapple sounds unusual but it doesn't stand out in the dish, it all just blends together really well. I use the pineapple in heavy syrup. I always add extra french fried onions on top. There is nothing I hate more than biting into a big crunchy white onion so I love the french fried onions in this. Very kid friendly...still onion flavor withouth the crunch that kids hate
