"A drizzle of edible gold adds the final, absurdly decadent touch."

Why I Love This Recipe

This is a simple way to make a tasty treat. It is very healthy using bananas .

Ingredients You'll Need

3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Edible gold leaf (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar until smooth.

Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until well blended.

Incorporate the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour into the mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool completely before removing from the pan.

For an extravagant touch, carefully apply edible gold leaf to the surface of the loaf before serving.

Pairs Well With

Pairs wonderfully with a glass of sparkling water with a slice of lemon for a refreshing non-alcoholic option, or a glass of vintage champagne for a luxurious experience.
