Why I Love This Recipe

This is gonna be two recipes in one. The first is for Salted Butter caramel sauce. It tastes just like a Worther's Original candy. I made the sauce and then came up with the second recipe so I could have something to put it on. But I will tell you, there was not much caramel sauce left b/c I couldn't quit eating it with a spoon after I'd made it.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions
3 small to medium bananas
4 Tbsp butter
4 Tbsp sugar
1/3 c toasted walnuts, optional

Directions

Cut your bananas into thin slices. Cut your thawed pastry into 4 equal size squares. In a small saute pan, add butter and when nearly melted add sugar and bananas. Saute until tender. Divide banans evenly over the four pastry squares and then gather the corners together like a bundle and pinch at top to secure ends. Place on a cookie sheet with plenty of space apart. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then put each of the bundles on their own plate. Drizzle with desired amount of salted butter caramel sauce and sprinkle toasted walnuts on top. Serve warm.
