Recipe provided by Keesha J. EMAGS thanks you!

Ingredients You'll Need

3-4 ripe bananas mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup crushed walnuts

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare a muffin pan by lightly greasing the cups or lining them with paper liners (If using a stick of butter, use wrapper the grease pan).

In a large bowl, mash bananas and combine melted butter.

Stir in the sugar, applesauce, and vanilla essence, then sprinkle the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt over the batter and stir again.

Add flour and crushed walnuts last, folding crushed walnuts in. Divide the batter among the 12 cups of a lightly greased muffin pan.

Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown on top.
