Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup butter or margarine -- room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup ripe bananas (about 2 large) -- mashed
3 tablespoons milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
1/2 cup pecans -- chopped


Directions

Preheat oven to 350.


In mixing blow, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg.


In small bowl, combine bananas and milk. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with banana mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.


Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
