Why I Love This Recipe

Quite the antioxidant kick! And all those wonderful detoxing enzymes from the kale. Plus loads of Vitamin C to help the immune system on a cold day, or for long periods of stress.

Ingredients You'll Need

2-3 c spinach
4 kale leaves

1 apple, cored and diced
1 pear, cored and diced
1/2 lime
1 orange
1 c blueberries


(If you have a powerful blender, just put it all in and blend!) Otherwise:

1. Add about 1/2 cup of water and about half the greens. Blend until smooth. Add in remaining greens and blend.

2. Squeeze in juice of the lime, then gradually add in remaining fruits, blending as you go.

3. Add additional water as needed to help with blending and make a nice smooth consistency.
