Why I Love This Recipe

This is a really old one from my grandmother. The secret ingredent is apricots.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 pounds lean round steak, cut into 2-inch strips
1 tablespoon butter
4 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 cup dried apricots
Grated rind and juice of 1/2 orange
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Brown staek in butter in skillet. Add celery and onion and cook until tender. Place in casserole dish. Add remaining ingredents, mixing well.

Baked, coved, at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. You can serve alone or over pasta or rice.
