Betty Falk's Sugar Cookies
Why I Love This Recipe
A Christmas isn't a Christmas without Betty's infamous sugar cookies!
Ingredients You'll Need
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
Mix above listed ingredients together and
set aside.
CREAM TOGETHER the following
2 sticks parkay margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Add sour cream and mix well. Stir in:
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 cups flour, sifted
Directions
Refrigerate over night. Roll out and cut and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Do not overbake. Yields about 42-45 three inch cookies. Freezes well.
