Questions, Comments & Reviews

This recupe has no added fat other than the eggs. It comes from Cooking Light magazine June 1995. It is supposed to be low fat. I've been making it since the 90's and yes, it is quite hard, like real biscotti should be. It is best dunked in coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I've used pecans and almonds as well as the walnuts, best to toast them before adding to the dough.

I made these yesterday and they came out extremely hard. I made another batch from a different recipe and thought it was odd that this recipe didn't have butter. Could it have been left out? If not, must have been baker's error....
