Why I Love This Recipe

Got this in an food service industry mag. It was an ad for BC Blueberries. Just had to try it and it was a great alternative to the traditional strawberry or plain margaritas.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 oz - Blueberry puree
2 oz - Teguila
1.5 oz - Orange liqueur (you know where I'm going with this - Grand Marnier!)
1.5 oz - fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp - sugar
(I never use 'white death'. Stevia is best natural sweetner ever! Easy to grow in your herb garden. Just crush or muddle a small leaf when you need to add a little sweetness.)
Course salt for the glass rim (optional but a little salt in a margarita always seems to add the missing something to the tequila.
Fresh blueberries for garnish

Directions

Just use either frozen or fresh blueberries and blend them up in the blender to make the puree.

(Best to make a bunch at a time and keep in the fridge.)

Combine the above in the cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly.

(Like we all need instructions for that, huh?)
