Why I Love This Recipe

Desserts mean as much to me as the main dish. And, by dessert I mean chocolate!!!! So, this blueberry is a new twist for me! A church in the community has a fish dinner one Friday a month in the winter. The church asks members to all make the same dessert for each fish fry. That being said...this is by far the "favorite" in the community! In fact. My friend sits on the "fish" committee and she contacts the local grocery store to make sure they have enough canned blueberry on hand!!!!

Ingredients You'll Need

1 pkg Lorna Doone cookies (10 oz), crushed
1/4 Cup butter, melted
1 cream cheese, 8 oz, room temp
1 Cup powdered sugar
2 Cool whip containers, 8 oz each, thawed
2 Cans blueberry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350
Grease a 9X13 baker
In a small bowl combine cookies and butter. Press into greased 9X13 baker. Bake 5 minutes. Cool completely.
In another bowl beat the cream cheese till smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and beat till lumps are smooth. Fold in one container of cool whip. Gently spread over cooled crust.
Open cans of blueberries and spread over cream cheese layer.
Then, gently spread last cool whip over blueberries.
Set in frig to set up at least 2 hours or overnight.
That's it!

Pairs Well With

Coffee or milk :)
