Ingredients You'll Need
30 Soda Crackers (enough to fill your cooking tray evenly)
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup (generous) brown sugar
1 package of milk chocolate chips
1 package of white chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil (up the edges too). Place soda crackers (saltines) on cookie sheet.
Heat butter and brown sugar over medium heat until boiling. Mix well to avoid burning and to absorb butter. Pour caramel mixture over crackers and place in 400F oven for 5 minutes (not more!).
Remove pan from oven. Immediately sprinkle the soda crackers with the package of chocolate chips. Allow to sit for a minute and melt, then spread with the back of a spoon. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 3 hours or place in the freezer for an hour.
Peel all the aluminum foil off the back and break into pieces. Enjoy!
