Breakfast Quiche

This is my mother-in-law’s recipe that I make on special occasions, especially during the holidays.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage roll (regular or hot)
1 ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbs flour
1 deep dish pie crust (frozen)
2 eggs beaten
1 cup evaporate milk
1 Tbs. parsley flakes
¾ tsp seasoning salt
¼ tsp garlic salt
¼ tsp pepper
Diced tomato (as garnish on top if desired)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375
Fry sausage and drain on paper towels
Combine shredded cheese and flour in a bowl, stir in sausage, add mixture to pie crust
Combine remaining ingredients (seasonings, egg, evaporated milk) in a measuring cup and whisk, pour over ingredients in pie shell
Bake for 35-50 minutes until set – to test, put a toothpick in the middle and it’s ready when nothing sticks
Let rest to continue to solidify (makes it easier to serve); garnish with diced tomato if desired
