Why I Love This Recipe

Brie cheese, named after the French region from which it originated, has been produced since the 8th century and is known for its creamy texture and earthy flavor.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb ground beef
4 slices of Brie cheese
1 large onion, sliced
4 hamburger buns
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce, tomato, and condiments of choice

Directions

Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat.

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties. Season with salt and pepper.

Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium well doneness.

While the patties are grilling, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the sliced onions. Cook until golden brown and caramelized, about 10 minutes.

During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of Brie cheese on each burger patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.

Assemble the cheeseburgers by placing a patty with melted Brie cheese on the bottom bun, topping with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and condiments of choice, and covering with the top bun.

Serve the cheeseburgers hot and enjoy!
