Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad

A delicious and colorful side to any meal.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 head broccoli, cleaned and cut up
1 head cauliflower, cleaned and cut up
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c slivered almonds
1 red onion, diced
1/3 c sugar
1/4 t salt
1 T dry mustard
1 T celery seed
4 T vinegar
1/2 c salad oil
Bacon bits
Directions
Boil onion, sugar, salt, mustard, celery seed and vinegar 2-3 minutes.
Cool. Stir in salad oil and mix with broccoli, cauliflower, raisins, almonds, and bacon bits. Refrigerate.

Sandwiches or any meat dish.
