Ingredients You'll Need
65g unsalted butter , softened (remove from fridge 1 hour before using)
35g caster sugar
1/2 egg yolk (make sure the egg is removed from the fridge for 1 hour before using)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
85g plain flour -sifted
Pinch of salt (optional)
Frosting for decoration (optional)
Directions
1) Heat oven to 170 -180C/fan 160C
2) Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl
3) Break and separate eggs
4) Beat 1/2 egg yolk with vanilla
5) Sift in flour and mix
6) When done make into balls then flatten a bit then put on tray
7) Bake for 12-15 minutes
