Buttercream Icing
Why I Love This Recipe
This is great for decorating cookies and cakes.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 cup butter
1/s cup Crisco
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 lb powdered sugar (4 cups)
3 T milk or cream
Directions
Cream together the butter, Crisco and vanilla. Add the salt. Beat in 1 cup at a time, the powdered sugar; finally, add the milk or cream and beat in till light and fluffy.
Make 3 cups icing.
