Why I Love This Recipe
Our family doesn't eat dessert during the week, but enjoy a variety of desserts on weekends. When it's been a tiring, busy week these go together quickly and the family loves them.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 package of Grandmas GF Yellow cake mix or mix of your choice
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
12 oz. package butterscotch chips
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, if desired
Line a jellyroll pan with parchment paper and set aside. Melt butter, set aside. In mixer bowl combine cake mix, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, and melted butter. Mix well. Stir in butterscotch chips and nuts, if desired. Pour into pan and spread smoothly. Bake in oven preheated to 375 F for 25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into 24 bars.
