CHUNKY CHILI MEATLOAF MICHELLE LOSEY'S STYLE

"Our Chili recipe in meatloaf form"

Our families Chunky Chili made into a meatloaf.
Ingredients You'll Need
Meat mix:
3 Lbs ground beef
1 yellow cooking onion diced
1 red or green bell pepper diced
1 stalk of celery diced
1 egg beaten
garlic powder
salt and pepper
1/4- 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
Opt: a few cayenne seeds
1 can precooked dark red kidney beans strained (can also use eye of tiger or black beans but black beans not as nutritious)
Regular seasoned bread crumbs (not Italian seasoned) can also use garlic butter croutons crushed in food processor
Sauce:
2 cans original flavored (not Italian flavored) stewed tomatoes chopped up a lil
2 cans tomato soup (we only use campbells it has the taste were looking for in this recipe)
1 soup can of water
pepper
about 2 TBS chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne powder
Opt: a few cayenne seeds
1 yellow cooking onion rough chopped small - med
1 red or green bell pepper rough chopped small - med
1 stalk of celery cut in bite size pieces
Opt: 1 can precooked dark red kidney beans strained (can also use eye of tiger or black beans but black beans not as nutritious)
Directions
Meat mix:
Mix meat, onions, peppers, celery, beans together. In small bowl beat together egg, garlic powder, salt and pepper, cayenne powder and opt seeds pour onto meat and mix together add bread crumbs. Put into baking pan shaping into meatloaf shape making sure there's room all around the meatloaf to pour the sauce.
Sauce: Mix all ingredients together and pour around meatloaf bake at 350F stir occasionally so it don't burn. After it starts to brown spoon sauce over top and cont. cooking until done. Make sure to serve the sliced meatloaf w/ plenty of sauce.
Opt. Serve with sour cream

Can use crunched up saltine crackers to clean up extra sauce
