Camping Foil Packets

Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
Sausage & Cheesy Potatoes: Sliced up sausages of choice, can of sliced potatoes, shredded cheddar cheese and green onions
Place everything in foil packets in order listed, heat over fire until heated and cheese is melted
Squash Medley: Sliced yellow squash and zucchini, garlic, black pepper (and seasonings of choice), and butter
Place everything in the foil packets, heat over fire until heated and butter melted
Sausage & Eggs: 1 frozen hashbrown patty, 2 scrambled eggs (cooked or uncooked), 2 frozen sausage patties, any seasonings of choice, shredded cheese of choice
Be sure to crimp sides well if you are using uncooked egg so the egg stays put. 2. Place hashbrown on foil then place the eggs, topped with sausage patties 3. Season as desired and wrap foil in a tent pack 4. Place on hot coals and cook 15 minutes or so, add cheese when it is ready
Muffins in an Orange Shell:
Ingredients: 6 oranges, 1 package of just add water muffin mix
Directions: 1. Mix up the muffin mix as instructed 2. Cut off the quarter top of the oranges; carefully scoop out the pulp (do not break the skin) 3. Pour the muffin mix into the oranges 4. Wrap in foil crimping the foil around the hole at the top of the shell, but leaving it open 5. Place upright in a stable position and cook 10-15 minutes
*TIPS: You can cook eggs this way too, but cover the whole orange shell with the foil
Catch of the day:
Ingredients: Fish you caught, or bought if you had bad day fishing, 1/4 cup onions, 1 Tbsp melted butter, lemon juice, salt & pepper, parsley, dillweed, paprika (any other seasonings of choice)
1. Mix the melted butter with a dash of lemon juice and the spices you are using (except paprika) 2. Place the onions on the foil sheet; place the fish on top and sprinkle with paprika 3. Wrap in foil and cook 15-20 minutes
Corn on the Cob:
Ingredients: 4 ears of corn, 1/4 cup butter, parmesan cheese, salt & pepper, 4 ice cubes
Directions: 1. Place ears on large sheet of foil; spread with butter 2. Sprinkle seasonings and parmesan 3. Put ice cubes on top and wrap into a tent type foil pack 4. Cook about 20 minutes
Pineapple Upside Down Cake:
Ingredients: 1 ring of pineapple, 1 Tbsp softened butter, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 cake donut
Directions: 1. Place donut on foil 2. Mix the butter and sugar and spread over donut 3. Place the pineapple ring on top 4. Wrap up and cook 5-7 minutes
