Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour, sifted
36 rolo candies (foil removed)


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place baking sups into 3 miniature cupcake tins total of 36. In a bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until creamy. On low speed, beat in the sugar, eggs, melted chocolate, vanilla and salt. Gradually beat in the flour. Divide the batter into the baking cups using 1 level tablespoon per cup. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until barely done. Press 1 of the rolo candies, bottom side up into the center of each tart until even with the top. Cool in the pans on wire racks for about 10 minutes. Remove from the tins and cool.
