Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
5 quarts popcorn
1/2 teaspoon baking soda


Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt.


Boil mixture to a fast boil over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes.


Remove and stir in baking soda.


Pour immediately over popcorn.


Bake in large roasting pan at 250 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.


Pour onto wax paper to cool.


Store tightly closed.
