Why I Love This Recipe

Chocolate and Caramel is a match made in heaven, so these brownies are heavenly.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
3/4 c. GGFG Baking Mix (or mix of your choice)
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 t. zanthum gum
1/2 c. caramel sauce


Put eggs in a bowl and beat well. Add sugar and vanilla and beat well. Beat in butter. If using mixer, turn it off and add GGFG Baking Mix, cocoa, and zanthum gum. Stir until moistened before turning mixer back on, if using. Stir well. Pour 2/3 of brownie batter into an 8"X8" parchment lined baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 15 minutes. Add caramel in ribbons to top of brownies, then drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over top. Bake another 10-20 minutes until knife comes out with moist crumb. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
