Why I Love This Recipe

This sweet side dish is a good opener for a meal and is a sweet way to start feeling full, This would pair well with a nice cup of warm chai tea with a hint of lemon.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional toppings: sliced almonds, fresh fruit, and a sprinkle of chai spices

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
Mix well until all the spices are evenly incorporated into the yogurt, creating a smooth and creamy texture.
Taste the yogurt and adjust the sweetness or spices to your preference.
Serve the chai-spiced yogurt in individual cups or bowls.
Top with optional toppings such as sliced almonds, fresh fruit (like figs or berries), and a sprinkle of extra chai spices for extra flavor and garnish.

Pairs Well With

A nice small bowl of mixed fruit, or a bagel
