Chai Tea Cheesecake Brownies

Why I Love This Recipe
(I LOVE Chai Tea and was inspired to whip this up. Mind you, This is not a kid-friendly brownie. My 7 year old didn't like it and she's a trash compactor, but my husband did.)
Ingredients You'll Need
Bottom Layer:
1/4 cup Chai tea Mix (*Unfortunately my local coffeehouse no longer sells it, so I had to buy Tazo’s Chai tea and pass it through a coffee grinder in order to make it into a fine powder. I had to use 10 tea bags.)
1 cup butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 Cups Sugar
3 eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Top Layer:
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Flour
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened.
Directions
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler. (*I tend to melt it in the microwave. 30 seconds the first one and 10 seconds more per square. Then I add the butter and nuke it for an additional 30 seconds.)
For the bottom Layer: Mix the sugar and eggs. Scrap the bowl. Add the chocolate mixture gradually.
Then Add the flour, salt, Chai mix and vanilla. Mix until it’s well blended.
Now I fill a 13x9-inch baking pan with the chocolate mixture.
For the Top Layer: Mix all the ingredients until it’s well blended.
Pour the top layer and swirl lightly with a knife.
Bake for 45-50 minutes. Allow it to cool and then cut.
