Why I Love This Recipe

A light snack from south India


Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 cups akki hittu
1/4 cup kadale hittu
1 Tbsp hurigadale (powdered)
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp Jeera powder
1/4 tsp Jeera
1 pinch hingu
1 tsp White yellu
1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp Butter


Directions

Mix with one cup water to form the dough


Pour 2 cups Peanut Oil in a kadai and put it on stove on medium heat


Put the dough in chakkali press and press it into the hot oil


Cook for about 3 mins till sizzling stops and flip the chakkali to get it evenly roasted
