Why I Love This Recipe

My husband and I love seafood! Thought we would change it up a bit and do a lobster boil instead of crab for an intimate dinner for two.

Ingredients You'll Need

4 lobster tails (thawed)
1 to 1 ½ lbs. of medium peeled and deveined shrimp (tail on)
2 ears of corn (cut in half or quarters)
1 bag of small red potatoes
1 Beef Kielbasa Sausage or Andouille (sliced into 1 inch chunks)
2 lemons
Old Bay seasoning
I bag of Zatarain’s Crawfish, shrimp & crab boil in bag
4 long skewers
1 big pot

Directions

Fill big pot with cold water. Heat over medium heat.

Bring water to roiling boil and add the bag of Zantarain’s seasonings to pot.

Slice one of the lemons and add to pot.

Let mixture boil for about 10 minutes.

Add the red potatoes to pot (boil for 10 minutes).

Rinse shrimp and lobster tails.

Skewer lobster tails (this keeps it from curling up while boiling).

Add sausage, corn and lobster tail on skewer to pot. Boil for 10-12 minutes.

Add shrimp. Boil for 5 minutes.

With a big slotted spoon, remove all contents from the pot and place in a large pan.

Shake (as desired) Old Bay seasoning onto the boil and serve.
