Why I Love This Recipe

"I struggled the first couple times I tried won tons, this method works easily and perfectly, AND you get more filling inside" ~ Judy

Ingredients You'll Need

Leftover Or Cooked Steak Thinly Sliced
Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
Oil
Won Ton Wrappers

Directions

*Cut the steak thin and as small pieces as you can (or use food chopper)

*Combine the steak and cheese; dip your finger in water and outline the edges of the won ton wrapper with the water

*Fill center with steak mixture and then fold in half to make a triangle, pressing edges to seal; fold over bottom points and press to seal

*Heat oil in skillet or deep fryer

*Fry until lightly brown on each side (doesn't take long, about a minute or so)

*Let drain on paper towel; cheese will continue melting while they drain

Recipe Tips:

*Tastes super yummy dipped in sweet chile sauce

*Can be an appetizer, main dish, or side dish (we often make them with the Spicy Szechuan Stir Fry to use up leftovers)

*Also great to add bag of shredded cabbage or broccoli slaw - just be sure if you do, first cook cabbage/slaw in a cook pan to allow for the shrinkage to happen before you put in won ton or egg roll wrapper - otherwise it will add air to your wrapper
