Cheesy Ziti Pasta Bake
Why I Love This Recipe
This is a re-do of one of my husband's Nana Bina's Classic Italian family favorites. Her original recipe is a white chicken Alfredo lasagna. Way too many steps and a big process to do it her way, so I simplified it to make it weeknight friendly as a throw together casserole.

Ingredients You'll Need
2 Large Eggs
1(10oz.) Jar Alfredo sauce
1(16 oz.)pkg. Ziti pasta
1(2 cup)pkg. Shredded Mozzarella
(1 cup reserved for topping)
1(15oz.) Ricotta cheese
1(8oz.) Sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1Tblsp Fresh Parsley
Cook pasta according to instructions on the package, drain.
Stir together all other ingredients. I usually start with the Ricotta and the eggs, then add the Alfredo and sour cream. Then add the other two cheeses. Fold in the parsley last.
Add the pasta to the cheese mixture.
Pour into a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or until bubbly. Add the 1cup reserved Mozzarella at the last 5-10 min.
Tip: I always add grilled chicken to make it like Grilled chicken Alfredo! Serve with a salad or steamed broccoli and garlic bread to make it a meal!
This recipe makes a good bit so there will be leftovers!
