Chicken And Peaches (or Pineapple Bits or Fruit Cocktail)

Why I Love This Recipe
I remember getting this out of a magazine when I was younger. I've tried all 3 ways and they are good. But this is one of those recipes you'll either love or hate. I've had people asking for more and others that don't. So its worth a try my family likes it :)
Ingredients You'll Need
1-2 Chicken thighs (or whole legs) per person eating
2 Cans of peaches w/ juice cut in bite size pieces for every 6 pieces of chicken
1 Green Pepper per 6 pieces of chicken Sliced
1 Yellow cooking onion per 6 pieces of chicken chopped
Butter
Garlic Powder
Salt and pepper
Light brown sugar
Cornstarch
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F
Remove skin from chicken
Put in skillet
Add water 1/2 way up the chicken
Add about 2 TSP butter
Add about 5- 8 shakes of garlic powder
Add salt and pepper
Boil flipping over once 'till waters boiled out
Then turn dwn heat and fry in the butter to brown both sides
Put in baking pan single layer no bigger than the amount of chicken your using
In another skillet add about 1 TBS butter
Add green pepper and onions
Fry 'till soft
Add fruit
Add about 1- 2 TBS brown sugar per can of fruit
Add about 1- 2 tsp cornstarch (I usually just sprinkle it by hand over top so don't really know the measurement)
Cook stirring constantly 'till thick and all fruit heated up
Pour over chicken
Bake at 375F 'till chicken is cooked all the way through flipping once or more
