A no pounding chicken cordon bleu recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
Meat mix:
3 Lbs ground chicken
1 yellow cooking onion diced
1 stalk celery diced
1-2 tsp granular chicken bouillon
3 eggs
Regular seasoned bread crumbs not italian seasoned
Filling:
sliced deli ham
sliced swiss cheese
Opt: yellow mustard
Directions
Meat mix: Mix all ingredients together
If making spiral: flatten out meat mix if using opt mustard add it here and spread it all over leaving 1 inch on all sides then layer ham slices leaving one inch on all sides then layer swiss cheese leaving 1 inch on all sides so cheese don't leak out. you can repeat layer of ham and cheese again if you wish then roll meat up careful not to squish out filling and rub hands all over to seal then shape into meatloaf shape add a lil water cover and bake at 350F abt 1 hour remove cover and continue baking until all the way done and browned.
If not making spiral: Divide meat mix in 1/2 put one 1/2 in baking pan and kinda shape into meat loaf shape then use a glass in center lengthwise pushing down a lil bit leaving a depression in meat make sure there's meat all the way around the depression so filling don't leak out. on a baking sheet layer ham then cheese the same width as the glass but abt as long as the baking sheet. If using mustard put it in the depression then roll up ham and cheese and put it in the depression cover with other 1/2 of meat being careful not to squish out filling make sure its sealed all the way around so the cheese don't leak out. Then shape into meatloaf shape add a lil water to bottom of baking pan cover and bake at 350F for abt 1 hr then uncover and baked till cooked through.
