Why I Love This Recipe

The origins of masala blends can be traced back to ancient India, where they were used for their medicinal and flavor-enhancing properties.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
2 onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp SPPL Premium Gold Chicken Masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
4 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions

In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, SPPL Premium Gold Chicken Masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add the finely chopped onions. Saute until golden brown.

Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.

Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and the masala is well-cooked.

Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Pairs Well With

Steamed rice or naan bread
