I love making this recipe for my family because it's easy and everyone loves it. I usually make it on the weekend so it can cook all day while I'm busy doing things around the house. I was given this recipe at a wedding shower I had 16 years ago when I was just learning to cook. It's always a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients You'll Need
3 cooked, shredded chicken breast (or rotisserie chicken)
1 pkg spaghetti
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 cans tomato sauce
1 large onion
1 garlic clove
1 small bell pepper
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp tabasco
salt/pepper
cheese to cover
Directions
Shred chicken and set aside.
Saute onion, garlic and bell pepper in butter until soft.
Whisk in cream of mushroom and tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce, tabasco, salt/pepper to taste.
Simmer about 45 minutes.
Add chicken and continue simmering while spaghetti noodles are boiling.
Once noodles are done, drain and add to sauce.
Place the sauce in a casserole dish and cover with cheese.
Bake at 325 for about 1 hour.
