Chili Con Turkey
Why I Love This Recipe
From the Abs Diet book. I always mix the rice in, but the recipe calls for it to be served over rice.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb ground turkey
1 can (14 oz) Mexican-style diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14 oz) sweet corn, drained
1 pkg (1 1/2 oz) dried chili mix
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
1/4 cup water
1 cup cooked rice
In a large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, brown the turkey.
Add everything else but the rice, and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve over rice or mix rice in with the mixture.
